4 DIY TONERS YOU NEED TO TRY THIS WEEKEND
India’s Rosewater & Witch Hazel (ALL SKIN)
- Rose water: Find in Tesco/ Ocado/ online. Varies in price from £1.00 - £10.
- Witch Hazel: Find in Tesco/ Home Bargains etc. for about £2.00.
Mix either a 50:50 ratio or use slightly less Witch Hazel if you have very sensitive skin. You can either spray directly onto skin or apply to our Konjac Eye Cleansing Pads and massage deep into the pores.
* India’s notes: For my toner, I used a mid-range organic rose water (about 2/3rd to 1/3 Witch Hazel). It’s become my go-to product before moisturising and after cleansing.
Apple cider vinegar & green tea (SENSITIVE SKIN)
- 177ml steeped green tea
- 59ml apple cider vinegar
Steep one green tea bag in hot water then allow the tea to cool to room temperature and remove the tea bag. Finally, add the 59ml of apple cider vinegar. This concoction can be kept for up to 10 days and applied with a simple spray bottle or match it to our Konjac Facial Sponge with Green Tea! This popular ingredient is well known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing skin benefits.
Kombucha & aloe (from nourishingjoy.com) (OILY SKIN)
- 118ml kombucha
- 59ml aloe vera
- 10 drops essential oil of your choice
Simply mix all of your ingredients together to create your new all natural toner. You can store this in a jar or bottle in an airy, cool place. This toner is especially helpful for very oily skin. Pair this with our Konjac Facial Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal for the ultimate oil-busting combo.
