The Konjac Sponge Co, was the first to market, it is the original brand that created the category.

The Konjac Sponge Co is the authentic brand, created over 10 years ago, and has been copied, but never bettered. Now, there are plenty that have endeavoured to replicate, and yes, some are much cheaper. But this is because they are not made with the same patented formula, and generally have chemicals or artificial ingredients in the manufacturing process that speed up production (thus reducing costs!) 

Our colours are subtle, this is because we do not add any extra ingredients to create a bright coloured sponge.

Other brands, are generally made in China, ours are proudly produced in our factory in South Korea. 

It's a backward compliment for us to be so readily copied (even our text gets used on other brands). But we are proud to be the creators, and innovators to what has now become a beauty staple.

We promise you genuine, honest ingredients and the truth, always! If we say, no chemicals and no artificial ingredients; we truly mean it!

Our products are all registered with the vegan society, and the carry the leaping bunny symbol.

The Konjac Sponge Co, is a registered trade mark worldwide. Beware of imitations. If a Konjac Sponge does not arrive with you, in a trade marked package, its not one of our products! Not all konjac sponge brands are created equal!

We have teamed up and made for Marks and Spencers, Urban Outfitters and a few other well respected companies. Once in a while we will supply an independent skincare brand too. But we only chose to work with reputable quality brands.

But usually, they are proud to use our name on the products too, so they can share the integrity and authenticity of their products and brand and gain the recognition that they are not offering the real product!

The Konjac Sponge Co products, cleanse, remove dead skin cells and gently exfoliate the skin.

By daily cleansing with the sponge, pores are refined, impurities lifted and the skin has been stimulated by the massaging effect. 

The massaging effect stimulates the blood flow to the surface of the skin and aids skin cell renewal and repair and leaves a  healthy glow. 

Our konjac sponges tend to last a little longer than the copy sponges. This is because our sponges are made without chemicals that others use, to speed up the manufacturing process.

Our sponges will last between 1 and 3 months. 

The better care you give your sponge, the longer it will last.

We have a use and care section here. But to maximise the life of your sponge; always rinse your sponge after use and never leave it sitting in a pool of water or in a humid environment. 

Your sponge will start to dry out between uses and go hard. Simply rehydrate it to use again. The dryer your sponge gets, the longer it will last!

Yes! Unlike most beauty products that tell you to be cautious or to avoid the delicate eye area. 

The Konjac Sponge Co products are amazing for the the sponge gently massages all around the eye and the eye lid, is delicate skin and sensitive area, taking away the dead skin cells and reducing puffiness and dark circles.

It does this may lifting away the old skin cells and make up debris that may have been left. Any puffiness is eased by the massaging effects which drain excess fluid from eye bags.

Honestly, it's an amazing eye brightener and treatment, suitable for use twice a day. Its a fabulous way of waking up your face every morning!

Some people, especially those who need to remove heavier makeup, like to still use a cleanser, and you most certainly can.

But you do not have to if you do not want to. Some people like to use the sponge with no cleanser first thing in the morning, and then use a cleanser at night, especially if they have been wearing sunscreens or oily makeup.

 The Sponge can actually do the cleanse on its own. But it's your call, if you feel you have a heavier product or pollutions that needs removing. 

If you do use a cleanser: USE LESS CLEANSER, AS THE SPONGE WILL MAKE THE CLEANSER WORK HARDER AND GO FURTHER!

Make the sponge a part of your daily regime. Simply use the sponge morning and evening, or whenever you would usually wash or cleanse your face. You cannot actually over exfoliate with the sponge, as its delicate and only removes the dead skin cells, never damaging the new skin thats underneath. It's kinder than heavy exfoliants, so very suitable for daily use.

All of our product ingredients are mineral and botanical, there are no animal oils or fats, no alcohol and no synthetic fragrances. Our range of skin care products are never tested on animals. We proudly carry the Leaping Bunny and Vegan Society registration marks on all of our Konjac Sponge Co products

The Konjac Sponge Co believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements. All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

Generally, you will not need to sterilise the sponge, as its just for you, and it should not hold the bacteria so long as you are following the care instructions. But, if you really want too, or you have acne, yes, feel free to boil the sponge for a few minutes in a pan of boiling water if you want. It is perfect for beauty therapists who want to reuse the sponge on their clients.

Yes, it will certainly help. By gently but deeply cleansing, the sponge will draw out impurities and excess oils that cause spots. We would recommend our Konjac Facial Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal for this problem.

The sponge is perfect for washing children's hair! There are no big, sloshy cups of water to pour and you can gently squeeze the sponge over the child's hair to wet and rinse.

Yes, the sponge is fantastic for irritated and sensitive skin. There are no chemicals and no impurities, so no irritants. We would very highly recommend the use of the sponge for all skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea etc.

Yes! It's excellent for all skin types and children. Our various clays and powders help you tackle more specific skin problems or types. They are great for sensitive, dry, oily and spot prone skin.

Yes, definitely. It is suitable for a newborn, in fact it's the perfect first baby bath product. There is nothing to irritate, and better still, no need for any other cleansing solution, shampoo or body wash unless you really want! If you would still rather add some bath soap, you can use far less product and avoid damaging sensitive baby skin with a product that can strip essential moisture.

Pack one in your hospital bag, or at least have one ready before he baby arrives!

Most definitely! The elderly, those going through chemo or bed ridden people frequently suffer from thin skin which breaks and tears easily. The sponge is perfect as it is so gentle and will not dry out or damage the skin.

We have long term now, supported cancer charities even, as the skin is suitable for those going through chemotherapy too.

Yes, wash daily with circular motions with the sponge. Your skin will feel softer and dead skin cells will be removed, giving hairs under the skin a chance to come through rather than getting stuck underneath tougher skin.
